Facts
Coan (P) was hired by Orsinger (D) to be the resident manager of an apartment development. The contract called for payment of $75 per week and a rent-free apartment and was to continue until P completed his law studies at Georgetown University Law Center. P started work on October 12th and was terminated on November 17th. P sued D. D admitted the oral contract at trial but alleged that the contract was terminable at will. D filed a motion for summary judgment, and it was granted. P appealed.
