Facts

Harris (D) signed a one-year contract to play for the Los Angeles Rams with an option for the Rams to renew the contract for one more year. A dispute resulted over the renewal provision and D elected to sit out that season. D sat out the season and then signed with the Dallas Texans Football Club. Dallas (P) was assigned the contract with D and sued to prevent D from playing for AFL team. P sued for injunctive relief. A temporary injunction was granted, but the trial court found for D. P appealed.
