Facts

H was ordered by divorce decree to pay certain community debts incurred prior to the divorce. This was part of a property settlement agreed upon orally by the parties. W instituted a contempt proceeding against H for failure to pay those debts. The trial judge refused as property settlement agreements were not enforceable by contempt. W appealed.
