Facts
Schiedt (P) sued Dimick (D) for injuries sustained in an auto accident. The jury gave the verdict to P for $500. P moved for a new trial in that, the verdict was a compromise verdict and that the damages allowed were inadequate. The trial court ordered additur for $1,500, D agreed, and judgment was entered. P appealed. The court of appeals reversed.
