Religious Technology Center (RTC) (P) alleged that the Mayos and the Church of New Civilization (D) violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organization Act (RICO) by engaging in mail fraud, and wire fraud in operating purportedly nonprofit organizations. The complaint was dismissed on the merits. D seeks attorney fees for having to defend that action under Rule 11, 28 U.S.C. Section 1927.
