Facts
P were a sheriff and several deputies as well as civilian employees that D claimed were engaged in illegal activities, staged narcotic arrests, arrests to generate publicity, illegally arresting citizens, misuse of public funds, police brutality, and incompetent law enforcement. D moved to dismiss and got the false light causes dismissed but not the libel. P appealed. The court of appeals affirmed.
