Facts

Mildred, Shirley, and Douglas (P) sought damages for an accident with a truck operated by Jack Coleman and owned by Millard Truck Lines (D). D moved for a directed verdict and was overruled. The jury gave Mildred a verdict of $4,000, Shirley a verdict of $6,000, and in favor of D on the Douglas claim for property damage, medical and hospital expenses of his wife and daughter and loss of consortium. D moved for judgment notwithstanding the verdict and was overruled. A new trial was denied and D appealed.
