P was driving east in the far right lane, and D was in the center lane facing west, preparing to turn left. D began to turn in front of P. Harris testified that she blew her horn, applied her brakes, and 'moved over to the right a little bit.' D's vehicle then collided with the left side of P's vehicle in the area of the front fender and driver's door. P suffered a cervical sprain and a contusion, or bruise, to her left hip. D admitted that she was guilty of negligence but contended that P should not recover because P was guilty of contributory negligence. P admitted when she saw D she slowed down and did not apply her brakes to avoid the collision. P appeals from a judgment on the jury's verdict for D, and a denial of her motion for a new trial.
