Facts
Harvey (P) desired to purchase property owned by Facey (D). P sent D a telegram asking if D would consider selling the property. P also asked D to quote his lowest acceptable price. D replied stating that his lowest price was 900 pounds. P then replied and accepted the alleged offer. D refused to sell. P sued for breach of contract. The trial court held that there was no completed contract and dismissed P’s claim. The Supreme Court of Jamaica reversed, and D appealed.
