Facts
An Oregon statute limited work hours for women who worked in laundries and factories to a maximum of 10 hours per day. On September 18, 1905, an information charged that the defendant had violated this law. A trial resulted in a verdict against the defendant, who was sentenced to pay a fine of $10. The Supreme Court of the State affirmed the conviction.
