Graeme (H) and Susan (W) were divorced in 1994. W was given custody of their son and child support of $1810 per month. H's obligations of child support were based on his salary of $212,702. Since the divorce, H's income has increased dramatically. W filed a motion to increase child support. H's salary at that time was $325,743 per year. H offered to pay $2,754 per month. The trial court increased H's child support to $7,494.10 per month and upon H's objection and miscalculation reduced that to $6,821.27 per month. H appealed.
