Facts
Two Greek ships collided in April 1974 off Shanghai. On July 7, 1976, a settlement was arrived at under which it was agreed that the owners of Despina R should pay to the owners of the Eleftherotria 85% of the loss and damage caused by the collision. This was a tort case based on negligence. The award was given in a foreign currency, and this appeal resulted.
