Facts
Stout (P) was a six-year-old boy who had his foot crushed when he caught it on D's railroad turntable. From testimony at trial, it appeared that P had never played there before and that the latch that prevented the turntable from moving was not locked but was broken and easily removed. The jury gave P a verdict for $7,500. D appealed.
