Facts

The defendant met the deceased at a bar and went home with her. The defendant claimed that he accidentally strangled the deceased while they were having sex. He claimed that the deceased asked him to put a cord around her neck and pull. The deceased was subsequently found strangled by a cord and naked in her boyfriend's bedroom. The defendant confessed to the police that he pulled the cord, which caused the victim's death. He was convicted of murder in the second degree.
