Facts
Reldan (D) was indicted for first-degree murder for two murders. Both victims were women, both were found nude relatively near each other, both were abducted from the same area, both were about the same height and weight, and both were killed by strangulation by use of pantyhose each with a fracture of cartilages of the Hyoid bone. D filed this motion to order separate trials because he claimed that joinder of the trials would be prejudicial.
