Facts
Prince (D) accepted money from his girlfriend, Mrs. Allen. She got it by forging her husband's signature on a check. D knew how she got the money. D was convicted of knowingly receiving money that was stolen from a bank. D appealed; the taking of the money was the crime of false pretenses and not larceny, so D could not have received stolen money.
