Facts
Thompson (P) is a class representative of African Americans residents of Baltimore public housing developments. P filed suit in 1995 against HUD (D) and others alleging that Ds and their predecessors from 1933 to present have established and perpetuated de jure racial segregation in Baltimore’s public housing. Ps have filed a motion to compel Ds to provide responsive answers to Rule 33 and Rule 34 discovery requests.
