Nature Of The Case
This section contains the nature of the case and procedural background.
Facts
P sued Kenneth Connor and D in 1993 for payment of medical services the hospital had rendered to Kenneth. The trial court dismissed P’s complaint against D on the ground that she had not executed an agreement to pay for the services rendered to Kenneth. The trial court declined to expand the doctrine of necessaries to hold the wife responsible for her husband's medical bills. The district court of appeal reversed and remanded. P appealed.
