Facts

Two leases were at issue. One was dated in the year 1798 and was for 999 years. The other was granted in 1824 and was for 988 years. Allman (D) is the current lessee, and the reversions in both leases are in Doherty (P). In the fifty years since the leases were written, the neighborhood has changed, and D intends to convert the buildings that used to be used for storing corn into dwellings. P objected to this.
