Facts
Freedman (D) sought to show the film Revenge at Daybreak without first submitting the film to the State Board of Censors. Section 2 required such a submittal. Even though the film if submitted would have passed muster, D was still convicted of violating section 2 for not submitting the film in the first instance. The Supreme Court granted certiorari.
