Facts
Ps two minor sons were killed in an auto accident. On the day of the trial, D filed an amended answer that admitted he was liable for the death of the two children. Ps were permitted to prove that D was intoxicated and that the children were thrown 80 feet by the force of the impact. Ps got the verdict of $7,500. D appealed. D argued the introduction of the evidence of the circumstances of the accident was unrelated to the issue of damages.
