In Re Good's Estate

227 Pa. 389, 76 A. 98 (1910)

Facts

Good's father died, and the estate of about $2,600 was given to Murphy. Murphy held an assignment dated almost one year after the death. The assignment was disputed on grounds of mental incapacity and inadequacy of price. Good Jr. was a drug addict and alcoholic. During the negotiations for the sale of the estate, there was no evidence that Good Jr. was under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
