Facts

Kenerson (P) fell ill and was taken to Memorial Hospital in New Hampshire. Lindblade (D) is the president and trustee of that hospital. P was treated by Dr. Stevenson, and there was evidence that Dr. Stevenson had consulted with a neurosurgeon at another medical center, and as P's condition worsened, he was transferred to the neurosurgeon's hospital and died on route in Gorham Maine. Kenerson was a resident of Maine. P sued in Maine court and D filed the motion to dismiss for lack of in personam jurisdiction.
