Kerkman (P) underwent Chiropractic care by Hintz (D). P later consulted a medical doctor and underwent two surgical operations. P sued D for negligence, and at trial, P was allowed to use the expert medical testimony of doctors and the standard of care for doctors in judging the negligence of D. P won the verdict and D appealed.
