Facts

Phillips (P) alleged that Manufacturers (D) fired him from the network services department because he was black and old. D claims that P was let go as part of a reduction in workforce. P claims that this position was not true in that D kept younger white employees who were not as well qualified. P tried to depose Michael Sztejnberg and then stopped the deposition for abusive, unreasonable, and dilatory behavior during. P sought sanctions under Rule 37, 28 U.S.C. Section 1927, and the Court's inherent power.
