Facts

An auto collision took the life of Eloy Romero. Helen Romero (P) and her daughter sued seeking damages against the driver and owner of the other vehicle involved in the accident. P sought personal damages for the loss of consortium and household services. The trial court dismissed that count, the appeals court affirmed. The New Mexico Supreme Court granted certiorari.
