D was at his ex-wife’s residence with Harry Van Buren. D agreed to let Van Buren stay with him that evening, and in return, Van Buren agreed to help D look for a part for D's truck the next morning. D left the house at 3 while Van Buren remained. The next time D saw Van Buren was about 8 that evening. Van Buren then informed D that he had burglarized Yellowstone Electric. D told Van Buren that he didn't want to hear about it. The next morning D and Van Buren went to look for a part for D's truck. When D was unable to find the part, he asked Van Buren to give him some money to purchase a car. Van Buren gave D $100 and after the car was purchased the two returned back home. When D arrived, he noticed that Van Buren was being questioned by police. When questioned by the police about the burglary, D indicated that he knew nothing about it. Eventually, D admitted that he had learned of the burglary. D was charged with being an accessory after the fact.
