Facts
Two Rivers (P) purchased bull semen from Curtiss (D) for breeding. Four calves born from the semen died from a disease known as syndactylism. P claimed damage to the reputation of its entire herd, including those calves not produced with D's semen, and the four born with the defect. P sued under strict liability and implied warranty. The jury awarded damages to P. D appealed.
