Facts

Hadley (D) was a former elementary school teacher. A number of complaints were made against D for sexual molestation. An indictment was eventually issues for 11 counts of sexual abuse with 5 minor children. Only the counts 7-11 were tried at this trial and deal with forcible anal intercourse against a boy named Roy. Roy testified at trial. The government also called other witnesses to testify that D had sodomized them too. Expert testimony was also given by a Dr. Rosenzweig on the general behavioral characteristics exhibited by victims of child sexual abuse. D was convicted of the three most serious charges. D appealed based on the introduction of the prior bad acts.
