P served Ds on January 29, 1981. Ds moved for additional time to answer in order to obtain information concerning a purportedly related action filed by P in the Northern District of New York. The court granted Ds' request over P's written objections. On April 1, 1981, Ds jointly filed their Answer. Ds made a general denial of P’s allegations. P moved for sanctions for violation of Fed. R. Civ. P. 11.
